Budget Blinds’ Founders and Officers

Founders
Budget Blinds was founded by five long-time friends in Southern California in 1992.  The five are still equal partners in the business and energetically manage day-to-day activities of the business.

Chad Hallock

Co-Founder, CEO and President
Budget Blinds was the vision of Chad Hallock.  After suffering disappointment at a previous company, Chad set out to create a company that allowed him to use the skills and knowledge he accrued.  Chad serves as the company’s Visionary and is active in the marketing and advertising activities of the company.  Chad’s identical twin brother, Brent, is also a co-founder; his younger brother, Czach, operates the company’s field office in San Diego County.

Todd Jackson

Co-Founder, COO
As the company grew, Todd Jackson adopted the role of Chief Operations Officer. He oversees all legal, training and human resources activities. Further, he ensures the facility is well-maintained and ready to host monthly franchise training classes of up to 60 people . He successfully managed the company’s move to a 25,000+ sq. ft. facility in Orange, Calif. that was designed and built to fit the company’s unique corporate culture and structure.

David Lewis

Co-Founder, CTO
As Budget Blinds grew, David Lewis adopted the role of Chief Technology Officer. He establishes the long-term technology goals, policies and procedures for the company, as well as oversees the departments that support the daily technology operations of the Corporate office and individual franchises.  David also ascertains the company’s need for additional hardware, software and human resources as they relate to technology.

Brent Hallock

Co-Founder, EVP
Brent Hallock is responsible for franchise support and oversees the Vendor Alliance, a select group of the nation’s finest window covering manufacturers.  Ongoing training and program development is critical to the successful operation of a franchise. Brent and his team of Business Support Representatives pro-actively coach new franchisees through their first three months in the business.

Tony Forbes

Co-Founder, EVP
Tony Forbes is the founder veteran franchisees call when they want to take their local businesses to the next level, e.g. hire employees, add a territory or move the business out of the house. He walks franchisees through a decision process, encouraging them to weigh the pros and cons of transitional moves.  His years of experience, logical approach and easy-going style make him an excellent resource for franchisees and employees alike.

Officers

Shirin Behzadi

CFO, Franchise Licensing
Shirin Behzadi joined the company as CFO in 2003 and has been an integral player ever since. She manages the accounting and franchise licensing functions of the business and participates in the activities of other departments. Shirin reviews and analyzes the company’s financial information, creates budgets and oversees the overall financial health of the company.
